1) Q. I am interested, but not very computer literate. Can you help me get started?
A. Yes! Some of our clients have been quite Internet-savvy, but most have very little Internet experience. We are happy to work with you and answer all of your questions, just give us a call or send an e-mail.

2) Q. I can scan my own pictures, but what are the requirements?
A. For Internet images, please scan them at 72 dpi and save them as a jpg or tiff file. We will resize and sharpen your images as necessary.

3) Q. I am not very good at writing. Can you help with writing the text for my ad?
A. Absolutely! The more information that can be provided to us the better your ad will present itself. We can rework your sentences and change the paragraph order. Just take a first stab at it and send us what you come up with. If we need clarification or more information, we will contact you.

4) Q. What search engines do you submit my page to and what advantage does that give me?
A. Studies have reported that 90% of Internet searches are from only a handful of search engines. We submit to the top 12 search engines such as Google, Yahoo, MSN, AOL Search, Overture, etc. Submitting your page to search engines will give you "targeted" search results. For example someone interested in "Cape Cod beachfront property" can search on that phrase to zero in.

5) Q. What about keywords for search engine placement? I don't understand how all of that works.
A. When you write the text for your page, please keep in mind what you think others will search on to find your property. Include those keywords in your text. "Lakefront home", "Virginia horse property", "Charlotte, North Carolina residence", etc.

6) Q. How long will it take to sell my property by advertising it on the Internet?
A. There are many factors that go into making a property appealing. There are many variables involved in closing the deal. We will create an appealing Internet presentation for you to use. How long will it take to sell? We have no way to answer that question just as the local newspaper couldn't answer the same question if you advertised with them.

7) Q. How many houses are sold per year on your site?
A. That is a difficult question to answer. Some of our clients only use our services as a short-term advertising campaign. Even as short-term as one month. Others stay on until the house is sold. Some people don't report back to us that they have a contract or sale until we remind them that their ad is coming up for renewal. Since we are not directly involved in the day-to-day activities of the sellers, we are not always informed of their status.

8) Q. Should I use only Internet advertising?
A. It is beneficial to the seller to use all of the advertising that is available, both Internet and traditional advertising. The more exposure that you can get, the more prospects you can reach. Use your Internet web address in all of your traditional advertising and hold a virtual "open house" 24 hours a day.

9)Q. Why should I advertise on the Internet?
A. There are several very good reasons for Internet advertising.
Economics- It is very inexpensive to advertise on the Internet. You have plenty of space to fully describe your property and include several pictures.
Availability - Prospects can "visit" your property any time night or day.
Consumer Expectations - Internet usage has increased at staggering rates over the past few years and it is becoming more and more common for consumers to turn to the Internet to find what they want.
Exposure- The Internet is a worldwide medium.

10) Q. How long does it take to get my page up and running?
A. Typically, once all of your information is received your page will be completed and available for your inspection within 2-3 days.

11) Q. What if I need to make some changes to my page over time?
A. We are customer-focused at fsbosites.com. E-mail us with your changes and we will take care of it, usually on the same day.
